A Reis portal laser robot is cutting a complex shape. RobotWorks supports 3
axes robot in combination with XYZ gantry or Cartesian construction, in addition
to the popular 6-axes articulated arm.KUKA robot mounted on a linear track is cutting a product on a two-axes
positioner, using a perfectly vertical plasma torch. This shows RobotWorks
capability to calculate complex path on 9 axes of motion.A TRUMPF CNC laser machine cuts complex shape demonstrates RobotWorks'
ability to be used with some CNC machines as well. The numbers RobotWorks
produces may easily be ported to CNC software.A demonstration of smart using of two tools on the same spindle. A powerful
motor mounted on heavy ABB robot is producing a marble countertop for kitchen.
It first drills round holes using a circular cup saw, then cutting straight lines using
a disk saw, to produced finished part. The motion is calculated so that the sink
opening is created by partial linear motions and the disk groove itself.Pipe cutting using laser or plasma is shown using rotary axis (optional module). The
cut is exceptionally complex since it requires shaped profile so the pipe can fit
perfectly the other pipe and leave the correct amount of material for welding.
