ABB robot welding a pipe on a curved surface. A perfect result is achieved if the
torch remains at a constant angle. This motion is calculated automatically by
RobotWorks’ optional External Axes module.
Kuka KR15 welds a part. RobotWorks creates this path with two clicks in less
than two minutes.
Fanuc ARC-Mate welds a part mounted on a two-axes positioner. The
movements of the positioner are synchronized with the robot to enable the
robot to reach around. This application uses an optional module
in RobotWorks.
This movie shows Deposition-Welding, in which layer upon layer if new metal is
added on top of worn part (In German - Auftragschweißen). This motion is done
in RobotWorks by the function Step & Repeat on top of the Pattern function.
Getting this complex motion requires only 4-5 mouse clicks in RobotWorks.
Motoman robot welding a bent pipe seam. In order to weld in one uninterrupted
path with the torch always vertical, the part & torch should twist and turn to
guarantee the perfect result. This motion is calculated in RobotWorks by just
a few mouse clicks.
