Industrial Painting

The master can actually paint (using a manual paint gun attached to the hand piece), or move a simulated paint tool in air. Both ways the motion is captured and translated into a robot file. Trigger actions may be added

manually and automatically.

This application is suitable for:

Industrial painting
Spraying of glue
Cleaning by steam
Coating by plasma and powder

and more...

This application requires the CopyCAT system. Please contact us for further details.

Trimming & Deburring

The object to process may be traced by a simulated tool, or by attaching a real tool to the Microscribe device. The captured points may be translated immediately to a robot motion moving the tool (with fixed workpiece), or the opposite way, where the workpiece is carried by the robot against a fixed tool.

This application is suitable for:

Deburring metal parts
Trimming plastic parts
Creating path for laser, Waterjet and other cutting devices
Guiding glue and sealant dispensers
Decorating glass and artifacts

and more...

The Microscribe digitizer is available world wide. See www.immersion.com/digitizer

Dispensing and Decorating

For this application a simple Pen Tablet can be utilized, to capture handwriting, 2D tracing of complex contours etc. Contours may be printed and copied directly from paper onto the tablet.
The hand motion is captures and translated immediately to robot path, as complex as intricate as could be. Very fine detailed work can be carried out by a robot with very short preparing time.

With some easy additional steps completely automated systems can be built to decorate cakes and cookies, dispense whipped cream and chocolate on plates and trays, make hundreds of copies unattended, and more.
